In Jerusalem, on March 11th, the Apostolic Nuncio Bishop Lazzarotto, celebrated the Holy Eucharist in honor of the Pope’s second anniversary on his election to the See of Peter. The Patriarch and Latin Bishop of Jerusalem – Bishop Fuad Tual, concelebrated with Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Custodian of the Holy Land, along with the Bishops and priests in the Holy Land.
Many consecrated men and women took part in large numbers, along with the laity and together they raised a unanimous prayer to honor Pope Francis, and for the brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their Faith.
The sisters in the Bethlehem community of the Sacred Heart of the Incarnate Word took part in this important Ecclesial gathering.
