Welcoming the request of the Religious sisters in the Archdiocese of Toronto, our sisters in the community of the Sacred Heart of the Incarnate Word convent located in St. Peter’s Day Care centre, Woodbridge, organised the second Regional Meeting of Religious, on January 2nd, 2016. They shared on the Theme of Mercy which Pope Francis proposed for the Church this year; read together a meditation on Mary, Mother of God, written by Chiara Lubich, and share their life in community with its joys and challenges.
This was animated by our friend, the focolarina in Toronto, Maria Dalgarno. Twenty-two sisters took part from various congregations. They are now preparing for the celebration for the closing of the Year for Consecrated Life which will take place in the Archdiocese of Toronto at St. Paul’s Basilica (Toronto) at the end of January 2016.
